My 3 HOT fashion trends for this season.

We are fast approaching spring in the west and its usually a time for linens, floral prints and light and fresh pastel colours. Yes, this still applies but in the 3 following ways:

1.    Seventies style jackets or blazers

A blast from the past but totally welcome this season.

Wear it over a shirt and legging or skinny jeans and pop on some heels and you are good to go. It totally works on a short fitted dress or short high waisted skirt. Don't forget your neck piece now. Bib necklace or a nice sparkly medallion.

Where do i get one from do i hear you say? Well easy. Go into your mothers' closet and ramage through her old clothes and i am sure you would be spoilt for choice considering your mum was fashionable in those days.

Go for colours like custard, mustard, wine or a nice navy blue and have it adjusted to fit you especially around the shoulders and arms or better still just leave it.  Roll up your sleeves and trust me... that's the look....totally unique to you.

2.   Keep it flirty and midi

Ditch the mini skirts and dresses for a change and go midi.  Midi skirts or dresses are mid-calf length  generally but you want it slightly shorter like 3cm from your knee.

Going for that sophisticated, sexy look, then try on a midi fitted dress with high heeled peep toes. Wear a belt if possible and pukka up with matte red lipstick. 

 

***Embellish me have the neck line motif in brown, black and purple with  embroidery and beads.

For a Boho Chic look, team your floral midi dress with a satchel bag, fantastic neck piece or embellished Alice band (like Embellish me's ) and high heel gladiator sandals. Boho Chica on the alert.

3.     WIDE LEG PANTS

There is very little that can be said  about this look. Its is just too sexy. High waisted wide leg pants, shirt tucked in, chunky heels or your killers heels, and a clutch to die for and that is it. Too hot and sexy.  Just do it!!!!
