It's almost November 2012 and I am amazed as to how Quickly this year has flown by.
Made new friends, lost some precious old ones too. Wedding after wedding, occasion after occasion, fashion shows and a host of fancy events and Embellish me has been there to beautify and embellish our clients. All glory to God.
My other life as a professional dancer and performer took the better part of July, August and September and its looking like its going to continue till February next year.
I have been Involved as a lead role in dance drama stage productions about child trafficking, heart disease and youth empowerment. Currently working with a dance company to train unemployed youths to become dancers. It's been exciting. I would share pictures and links to the videos of these shows once I receive them.
Amidst the dancing, Embellish me is still very busy and ready to serve.
Look out for a review on Lagos Fashion week and pictures of Embellish me's clients all Embellished in new designs and creations.
So till the next time take care of you and

Hair Glory - Great Hair trends for 2012
There will be no more bad Hair days from now on as great hair trends have taken the hair and beauty scene by storm. As women, our hair is our crowning glory and it would be great for it to look fabulous every chance we get.
Here as some gorgeous hair trends to keep you looking absolutely fantastic for a while...
High Buns
High buns are quite popular at the moment and can be worn from a regular day out to the red carpet. Very effortless and chic. Kim kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Lopez love this trend. It can be achieved with box braids too.
Asymmetric Bob
Keri and Riri made this quite popular last year but its has evolved this year and just keeps getting better.
Braids and Twists
Under the new term protective hair styling, braids and twists are so trendy at the moment, the problem really is what colour to go with.
Red, Copper and Honey Blonde
Autumn colours I guess but absolutely fabulous all the same I am copper and honey blonde at the moment and loving it. Make sure you have your hair coloured professionally and deep condition regularly.
Medium hair cut
These tend to be more elegant and sophisticated. Some highlights in your hair or colour would make your hair cut even more interesting.
Quirky but Fab
Mohawk, Shaved on one side, whatever tickles your fancy... be creative, its in.
Curly Sue
whether loose or tight, curly hair suites most face shapes if not all so go for it.

Effortlessly Beautiful - Tips and Tricks
Effortlessly beautiful - Uduak Ojo
10 simple tips on achieving beautiful skin
Ten Simple Tips for flawless and beautiful skin.
1. Exfoliate once a week with a body scrub. Choose wisely how coarse you want it depending on the sensitivity of your skin. Use a scrub with vitamin E and natural essential oils like lavender, jojoba grape seed etc. Home-made scrubs are good too. Use 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 6 table spoons of salt and 2 table spoons of honey, mix, put in a jar that has a lid and use on damp skin once or twice a week. This helps to simulate blood flood and activate the collagen in our skin keeping it plump and healthy looking.
2. Lemon and honey mask. Mix 2 table spoons of fresh lemon juice and two table spoons of honey in a bowl. Mix very well and use your fingers to apply the mixture on your face. Relax for about 15 minutes for it to harden and wash with warm water. The lemon in the mask clear dark spots and the honey hydrates and gives radiant clear skin. This can be used once a week. For dark circles under the eyes, place a slice of cucumber over each eye.
3. Drink a glass of warm water and juice from half a lemon or one lime every morning to detoxify the skin and system. The vitamin C in both fruits also helps to keep the skin looking radiant.
4. After every bath, apply lotion while your body is still damp since your pores are still open. This helps to make the lotion penetrate into the skin and lock in the moisture. Using essential oils such as lavender oil, after a bath in the evening can help promote good sleep and help the skin repair after a full day out and about.
5. Take supplement vitamins that boost your immune system and also give your body and skin the macro and micro nutrients that it requires. Vitamin E, Royal jelly and vitamin C are particularly good for the skin. Vitamin B complex is good for both skin and hair growth.
6. Exercise and get a good sweat on. This helps to remove impurities and toxins from under the skin and keeps it healthy and fresh.
7. Drink mineral water as often as you can and green tea. The anti-oxidants in these drinks help to expel toxins from the skin, hydrate the skin and keep you looking radiant. Avoid coffee, fizzy drinks and sugar laden fruit juices.
8. Eat properly. Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables. Fruits such as grape fruit and lemons are good for clear complexion. Reduce processed and refined foods such as bread, rice, sugar, flour and lard.
9. Sleep well. Try to get at least 6 hours sleep.
10. Try to live a peaceful and stress free life. YES, TRY.

10 simple tips on achieving beautiful skin
As cliche is it may sound, we are all wonderfully and beautifully made. I mean with the delicate and intricate beings that we are, God must have taken his time to create this master piece He called WOMAN. I love being a woman. We have strong and powerful inner strength, courage and might driven by love and passion, intellect and intuition unfathomable by men, grace, beauty, radiance and elegance. Wow! We are incredible.
Although not a lot of us feel this way and due to different circumstances and situations, we see our selves sometimes as the opposite. But when we rise from all the facets of life that put us down and see the person we were created to be, we can not but only thank God to be a woman. The hormonal imbalances, multitasking abilities, compassion, defiance, mood swings, stubborn doggedness, feistiness are all strengths if properly channelled. Our structure and frame is another work of art and that bring me to the reason for this article.

We are beautiful yes, but we have to maintain, beautify, nurture and even enhance our beauty. We must remember, we are going to grow old and lose the elasticity in our skin. For those of us in sub Saharan countries, we are exposed to the sun quite often so it is every important to take extra care of our skin and this would definitely enhance our beauty and slow down the ageing process. Of course, the right diet and exercise have to be incorporated into our beauty regime but today we would focus on achieving EFFORTLESS BEAUTY.
Embellish Me Bride Uduak Abang now Uduak Ojo is one of such women, strong, entrepreneurial and beautiful.

2012... So far so good.
2012..... So far so good
I can not believe that 2012 has gone beyond the half way point. This year has gone by so quickly but we must say and God that it has been very eventful.
Embellish Me has been very busy embellishing several fashion forward people within and without Nigeria.
We had the opportunity of Embellishing very beautiful people in Dubai, France, Gambia, Spain, UK, USA, and in our very own Nigeria. We are looking to spreading the Embellish Me love to even more countries before the year finally comes to a close.
Embellish Me has also been involved in fashion shows this year particularly the Tea Party by TW Magazine in June last month. We have a goal of presenting our pieces in collaboration with a fashion designer in the Music meets runway show this year. Steps at achieving this are already ongoing. Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to use this opportunity to thank all our clients this year so far. You have all been wonderful and we can not thank you enough.
Here are some pictures of this year's adventure.
We have not received pictures from a few of our clinets and some destinations weddings but we will not hesitate to share once they are in.
Enjoy!!!
